Hi, I'm Leah Haden!

GRAPHIC DESIGNER. I aim to uplift and share stories through carefully considered design.

Restaurant Branding
"The Itis," a restaurant brand inspired by my love for soul food and my upbringing surrounded by its rich flavors and traditions. Drawing from family recipes and the comforting, home-cooked meals I grew up with, I aimed to bring the authentic taste of soul food to a wider audience, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the heart and soul of my heritage.
Henrico County Rebranding
As part of a school project, I rebranded my hometown of Henrico, Virginia, focusing on capturing its unique identity and highlighting its cultural and community strengths through fresh, dynamic design elements.
Noir Magazine
Creating this magazine allowed me to highlight overlooked community leaders and address systemic issues, using design and visual research to craft impactful stories that inspire change and promote wellness.
Hair Story
A cultural catalog of iconic hair and history from the early 1900s to the present day. It took weeks of visual research, writing, and family interviews to make this possible
Painting
This collection of my paintings, created with oil and acrylic paint, features a series of still lifes and portraits, reflecting my lifelong enjoyment of painting the objects and people around me.
Posters
This ever-changing collection of posters combines music, quotes, and striking visuals to motivate, uplift, and connect to others through my personal interests.
Commissioned Work
My freelance design work covers a wide range of services, from digital illustrations and typographic logos to designs that span across various platforms for my clients. I focus on creating unique, versatile visuals that effectively communicate brand stories and connect with the intended audiences.
