Hi, I’m Leah Haden, an East‑Coast‑based Multimedia Designer who believes the best design feels effortless, tells the whole story, and—above all—makes everyone feel seen. As a recent graduate from Virginia, I often reflect on the journey that carried me to Boston, where I earned a BFA in Communication Design at Massachusetts College of Art & Design. Boston is also where I realized that the “doodles” I had loved since middle school could become serious, purposeful work.
My practice blends digital precision with tactile warmth; Representing stories that have too often been sidelined motivates me most. Centering Black and Brown identities and celebrating the cultural richness they bring is not an afterthought—it is the lens through which I judge whether a design succeeds.
After starting my career at Minuteman Press, guiding projects from first conversation to final print, I now serve as an Assistant Designer at La‑Z‑Boy, transforming flat floor plans into immersive 3‑D stories that help clients picture spaces they love while shepherding timelines and details.

Outside the studio, I run a freelance practice, partnering with small businesses and nonprofits that need thoughtful branding and marketing assets delivered quickly. Curiosity leads every project: I listen, ask, and welcome feedback at every step.
When I’m not designing, you can find me hanging out with my two dogs, Apollo and Rocky, my micro American Bullies, in my garden or playing video games. Oh, and I’m always up for some chocolate!
